Abstract

During the actual printing of presswork, some restrictive factors have led to many quality defects, which are hard to be real-timely discovered by human eyes and may cause great economic losses. Based on the principle of computer vision, we construct a monitoring system of presswork quality for high-speed printing. To overcome the shortcoming of image “motion blur” phenomenon in high-speed printing, we present a synchronous transient exposure method, which greatly improves image definition. Based on this approach, synchronous signal acquisition module, synchronous lighting module, horizontally scanning module are designed and implemented. Experiment and field test results demonstrate that the dynamic resolution of CCD and image definition are improved and our system shows better real-time performance, higher stability and stronger anti-interference capacity, et al.
