Research and Development of Automatic Test Equipment for Oil Varnish Propensity Rating in Electric Power

Abstract

This article introduces the research and development of transformer oil automatic varnish propensity rating test equipment based on membrane patch colorimetry (MPC). The equipment can automatically complete all the working links of the varnish propensity rating test process like transformer oil sampling, sample maturation, dissolution filtration, color difference detection and calculation, saving a lot of manpower and material resources, improving detection efficiency, and promoting the application of varnish propensity rating to evaluate the state of transformer oil, provide technical support for transformer safety detection.
