Abstract

In order to solve the problem of temperature cross sensitivity existing in the traditional fiber Bragg grating (FBG) pressure sensor measurement, the author conducts temperature compensation through increasing reference grating. By utilizing the FBG structure with temperature compensation function in accordance with the principle of elastic diaphragm combined with the requirement for mine hydraulic support pressure sensor, the author designs and manufactures a kind of novel fiber hydraulic support pressure sensor. The experiment result indicates that the sensitivity coefficient of the pressure sensor reaches 14.5pm/MPa, which improves the response speed, reduces pressure measurement error and abides by the requirement for mine hydraulic support pressure measurement.
