Abstract

With the advancement of glass technology in recent years, glass which has the characteristics of high hardness and brittleness is becoming an increasing topic. Laser glass cutting machine has the characteristics of high efficiency and non-contact and can be widely used in glass bottle manufacturing industry. This paper aims fundamental research and design of the laser glass bottle cutting machine operation with a rotary table. First the multi-station rotary table on which the glass bottles are placed will be designed especially the tray or rotary plate, the worktable, the shaft around which the plate rotates and also the rotary fixture part of the table is designed; then the choice of motors is made and finally the motor control system is designed. After the glass bottle is cut by laser on the multi-station laser cutting machine, the bottle body and the bottom of the bottle are separated and removed by manual percussion. Solidworks software is used to model the equipment, assemble and simulate the motor, bearing, turntable and other mechanisms, so as to achieve the expected work efficiency of laser processing glass bottle.
