Abstract
AbstractThe low efficiency and invalid circulation is the inevitable result and indispensable rule of water flooding development in the heterogeneous multi-layer sandstone oilfield. This phenomena exits in various oilfields with different permeability. It is caused by the high permeability flow strip in the reservoir in medium and high permeability oilfields, and the development of natural fractures in the reservoir in low permeability oilfields. With the increase of comprehensive water cut in the oilfield, the low efficiency and invalid circulation is increasingly prominent, which seriously affects the development effect and economic benefit of oilfield. Accurate and rapid identification of wells and layers with low efficiency and invalid circulation is the key to carry out management and improve oilfield development benefits. Based on forming conditions of high permeability and low permeability oilfields, the intelligent identification standards and methods are established, by analyzing the influencing factors and performance characteristics of the low efficiency and invalid circulation. According to the methods, a software system has been researched and developed, which has highly improved work efficiency of reservoir engineers, and realized rapid identification and three-dimensional quantitative characterization of low efficiency and invalid circulation field. At present, this software system has been widely applied in a large number of blocks in Daqing oilfield, and the recognition coincidence rate can reach more than 95%. This method can not only provides a comprehensive treatment for low efficiency and invalid circulation, but also help the development of heterogeneous multi reservoir sandstone oil field.KeywordsMiddle and high permeability oilfieldLow efficiency and invalid circulation of water driveIdentification methodSoftware system
