Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, the design tools of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) based on three-dimensional design and simulation analysis have been widely used in the design of nuclear power equipment and play an important role. Nevertheless, the current design of nuclear power equipment still remains at the level of tool application, lacking a unified integrated environment, design data scattered on personal computers, failing to effectively control, lack of correlation between data, difficult to excavate value, and difficult to share and reuse design experience. In view of the above problems, this paper proposes a integration method of design driven by task, flow-chart-based task management and flow-based design activity management, to achieve standardized management of design process and task and the collaborative design based on process and data, encapsulate the tools and methods of nuclear power equipment research and development, and construct an integrated design environment. The platform based on the proposed method has been widely used in the design of nuclear power equipment in China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd, and has been recognized by designers and managers. It effectively promotes the level of standardization, automation and intelligence of design work, and has good practical application and promotion value.
