Research and Application Based on the Soft Restriction Design of Product Design

Abstract

With the development of mechanical product design, the products designed by design researchers are not only required to have a sense of social responsibility, but also to achieve advanced ergonomic standards in the design, but also to regulate people's bad behaviors, so as to reasonable living a positive impact. To solve this problem, we proposed a products design method of the soft restriction design method, and summarize its design principles. In verification experiments of the method, a specific bathroom product design to prove the method of soft restriction design can be applied to other product design. The design concept and means of soft restriction were first proposed and summarized, and it integrates the ergonomics, reverse engineering, humanized design and other multidisciplinary theories. That provides a new design concepts and methods for those involved in mechanical product design and interactive system design, which is in line with current design trends and makes up for the traditional restriction design limitations.
