Abstract

Research Article| February 01 2020 Rescue Me James Allen Hall James Allen Hall James Allen Hall is the author of a book of poems, Now You’re the Enemy, which won awards from the Lambda Literary Foundation, the Texas Institute of Letters, and the Fellowship of Southern Writers. His book of lyric personal essays, I Liked You Better Before I Knew You So Well, won the 2016 Cleveland State University Poetry Center Essay Collection Award, judged by Chris Kraus. Recent essays appear in Texas Review and Copper Nickel. Hall teaches creative writing and literature at Washington College, where he directs the Rose O’Neill Literary House.
