Abstract
In addition to requirements for increase of working accuracy and efficiency on machine tools, a distinctive need for overall automation took place. As a consequence of realisation of manufacturing systems, mainly the environment of the individual machines changed without influence to the basic machine functions. Nevertheless these activities there are considerations and examples sporadically realized, whiten refer to a concentration of technological processes on definite machines. Overall it appeared that several requirements can be met through the machine tool structure itself, partly with actions in detail and partly with diversification of structural features.
