Abstract
Abstract“Requirements for human mesenchymal stem cell‐derived small extracellular vesicles” is the first set of guidelines on human mesenchymal stem cell‐derived small extracellular vesicles (hMSC‐sEVs) in China, jointly drafted and agreed upon by experts from the Chinese Society for Extracellular Vesicles. It was released by the Chinese Research Hospital Association on 28 December 2021 and came into effect on 1 January 2022. This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and regulations, packaging, instructions for use, labeling, storage, transportation, and waste handling for hMSC‐sEVs, which apply to the production and quality control of hMSC‐sEVs. We hope that the publication of these guidelines will promote consensus on the research and application of human mesenchymal stem cell‐derived small extracellular vesicles and accelerate its international standardization.
