Abstract
Requirements are outlined for evaluation of the doubles of coil furnaces during fabrication, repair, and service at petrochemical and oil-refining plants. Observance of these requirements makes it possible to determine defects in the doubles and their magnitude, and assess the possibility of eliminating the latter, and also the possibility of returning the doubles to service after elimination of defects.
