Abstract

To the Editor.—
I find I am able to add little to what I have already said to the NIMH investigative committee convened at New York University. I indicated to the panel that I worked on the project in good faith and was told that the data for the 1983Archivesarticle came from the Oakdale Michigan Regional Center for Developmental Disabilities (see appendix I of the NIMH report, pp 21-22). My involvement in the study focused on reviewing the relevant literature and working on a draft of the paper. Now, given the results of the investigative committee, I am, regretfully, no longer in a position to vouch for the authenticitv of the paper.
