Abstract

These two questions could be applied to all human activities. In this paper, I consider these questions within the context of my current research on women's subjective experience of new procreative and reproductive technologies. I do so, in part, in response to what I consider to be an "open invitation" from Wolff when he suggests that we ask and answer the question 'Sociology?' in our own authentic ways; and that we seize the chance of facing it in the unprecedented sense at our turning point in history (p. 10).
