Abstract

The eight-hundredth anniversary of the founding of the University of Padua (1222–2022) provided an opportunity for many modern European nations to recall the presence of their representatives among the students of the Athenaeum, counted among the oldest and most distinguished, its contribution to the development of science and culture, and the importance that education in the city of Antenor had on the course of the careers of the graduates of the Gymnasium Patavinum.
