Abstract
The Editorial Board regretfully received a letter from Fred W. Poos, dated October 1, 1962, advising that for personal reasons he must submit his resignation as Editor of the JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC ENTOMOLOGY, effective December 31, 1962. Two of the Board members subsequently met with Dr. Poos to ascertain if he might reconsider his decision but were advised he feels he definitely must relinquish his editorial duties. The Board is, therefore, giving consideration to the selection of a new Editor for the JOURNAL.
