Report from Stop Stigma Now's Lubran at AATOD

Abstract

Bob Lubran was at AATOD, not as an attendee, but as an exhibitor for Stop Stigma Now. An old friend and colleague, he shared some of his perceptions from the meeting. As the former director of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Office of Pharmacologic Therapies, he has many connections in the OTP world. “I've been very impressed with the people who came by and stopped to chat,” he told ADAW. “There were a lot of new providers from rural areas. Very enthusiastic. Met some recruiters for Acadia – and such a huge organization. Overall, it's been very positive in my view.”
