Abstract
The excellent permanent results in using mild doses of radium, which I have observed in almost all cases, prompt me to call attention to this method of treatment, which is still capable of further development. Its chief indication is in the large number of inflammatory processes in muscles and joints (which we include under the general term of rheumatism), gout, arthritis deformans and all types of neuralgia, especially sciatica. A series consists of six injections; 1 microcurie is administered in the first three injections, and 2 microcuries in the last three injections. The series is repeated after about three weeks.
