Abstract
It is pointed out that the calculations made in the commented paper refer essentially to stationary properties and, therefore, are independent of the procedure for switching on the coupling with the electromagnetic quantized field. It is argued that any decoherence induced by the environment should include the coupling via the virtual photon cloud.
