Abstract

The authors wish to thank Dr. Skobelev for his interesting remark about the acceleration technique for the three-dimensional (3-D) Green's function of a two-dimensional (2-D) array first proposed by Ivanishin. It basically consists of a Kummer's decomposition of higher order with respect to those presented. The possibility of obtaining similar decompositions is mentioned, where details are shown only about the lowest-order extraction, and it has also been recalled in our paper, in connection with the first presented geometry (2-D Green's function of a one-dimensional array).
