Abstract

We point out that a comprehensive study of granular electron-doped superconductors should include more than electrical resistivity and magnetoresistance measurements. Features of polycrystalline samples such as superconducting fraction and superconducting grain size are important variables in systems close to both metal-insulator and superconductor-insulator transitions. In particular, for samples where superconductivity is confined to small regions, charging effects should be considered.
