Abstract

The Repetitive Trauma Disorders (RTD) study has been an important support for many areas interested in a healthy work environment. The RTD study importance is justified by either its increasingly occurrence rate and the high difficulty degree on controlling and solving the problem. The present research goal was to identify and describe the social actors representation about RTD, based on the analysis of ill people reports. In order to accomplish that purpose, a qualitative methodology was adopted because this approach proved to be very adequate to assess the more subjective perceptions. As result, it was built a real report on the whole history related to the RTD experienced by people in an advanced illness level. It is also subject of this work a discussion on how the knowledge about the social actor viewpoint can help a better approach on the illness care.
