Abstract

This paper presents an algorithm based on a repetitive-control scheme to eliminate the low-frequency-harmonic contents of the output voltage in voltage-source inverters. The proposed controller can be used to minimise unexpected output-voltage harmonics due to practical implementation aspects of the pulse-width-modulation algorithm (switch dead time, for example). The controller can be implemented using the Park's transformation with a rotating reference frame for balanced three-phase voltage-source inverters. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the main contribution of this work.
