Abstract

Repeated low‐level red‐light therapy (RLRL) has been proposed as a new method to control myopia progression. RLRL is delivered by a desktop device at home under parental supervision. The device emits red light through semiconductor laser diode. This lecture will present the most up‐to‐date information on treatment, evidence on clinical efficacy and safety, as well as possible mechanism of the therapy.
