Abstract
ABSTRACT Coal is the main energy source in China, which can produce a large amount of coal gangue in the process of mining. In the process of accumulation, coal gangue can release a variety of harmful ions and pollute the mine environment. In this study, four kinds of coal gangue were used as experimental material to determine the maximum amount of pollutants dissolved from different kinds of coal gangue in different areas, and the repairing effects of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) on the dissolved pollutants of gangue were comparatively analyzed. Results show that the maximum dissolution amount of pollutants in the four gangue leaching solutions in order was: spontaneous combustion gangue from Gaode area > gangue from Shanxi area > spontaneous combustion gangue from Haizhou area > gangue from Haizhou area. The pollutants dissolved from four gangues could be inhibited and repaired by SRB with different repairing effects, namely, gangue from Haizhou area > gangue from Gaode area > gangue from Shanxi area.
