Abstract

SummaryThe identification of a Rendzina soil on Bathurst Island at 75° G45′ N, 99°30′ W, is believed to mark its northernmost known occurrence. The Rendzina soil is quite shallow, usually no more than 5 to 10 cm on for‐like limestone structures, but on the debris apron surrounding the base of the tor, the soil may be as much as 30 cm or more in depth.
