Abstract
Bilateral pelvic kidneys and a unilateral pelvic kidney were found in a male and female cadaver, respectively. The upper pole of the left pelvic kidney in the male impinged upon a lateral bony projection from the body of the 5th lumbar vertebra. A cyst was present at the lower pole of the same kidney. The vascular anatomy and the resultant variations of the normal anatomy of the pelvic structures have been described.
