Abstract
Natur und Antike in der Renaissance—a comprehensive exhibition of small bronzes held at the Liebieghaus Museum in 1985–86—was extraordinary both in its didactic completeness and in its direct communication of the sensuous appeal of the objects displayed. Accompanied by a fine catalogue edited by Sybille Ebert-Schifferer, the exhibition was organized by Herbert Beck, Director of the Liebieghaus Museum, and Peter Bol, its Curator of Ancient Sculpture.
