Removing rotated discretely self-similar singularity for the Euler equations

Abstract

In this paper we exclude the scenario of rotated discretely self-similar singularities of the 3D incompressible Euler equations in the case when the singularity point is isolated and the vorticity satisfies appropriate decay condition at spatial infinity. For the proof we use the maximum principle for the transformed self-similar equations.
