Abstract

1. It was shown that it is possible to remove vanadium from petroleums and petroleum products with aqueous solutions of p-toluenesulfonic acid, o-sulfobenzoic acid, and sulfanilic acid. 2. Vanadium is extracted best from those petroleums and petroleum products in which the vanadium-porphyrin complex is not present.
