Abstract

Wastewater treatment from pollutants, in particular from fluorine ions, is an important and urgent task. This paper presents the results of laboratory studies to remove fluorides from model solutions using a natural sorbent - brucite. Experiments were performed for solutions containing 10, 50 and 100 mgF/l. We studied the effect of firing temperature, reagent consumption and interaction time to the degree of impairment of solutions. The optimal parameters for cleaning wastewater from fluorine ions with an initial concentration of 10 mgF/l to the MPC level are selected.
