Abstract

Elimination of fluoride from water sample is an imperative stimulus for the betterment of society. Based on WHO policy, the fluoride level superior than 1.5 miligram/litre causes dental and bone scarcity to living entities. In order to prevent these issues, the proper deflouridation technique was chosen. In the present investigations highlighted the elimination percentage of Fluoride from water with the aid of low-cost material, rice husk. Various physical and chemical deflouridation methods were developed to treat high concentrations of fluoride in ground water. Those deflouridation methods need to be built which this will be cost-efficient, and biodegradable. Rice husk is used to detoxify fluoride-rich water and making it safe for human use. 0.5 g/100 mL of adsorbent accomplished 87% of fluoride removal.
