Abstract

There are plenty of things that nonprofit boards should be wary of as they go about their business, but assuming that they have a full and complete understanding of the lives and challenges of their beneficiaries may be the biggest one of all, according to Marc Rand, executive director of American Nonprofits and contributor at the nonprofit resources website BlueAvocado.org.
