Abstract
It is with great sadness that I inform the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) and others of the passing of Prof. Richard “Dick” W. Adler on 30 December 2021. Prof. Adler was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania, in 1934. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, in 1956 and 1958, respectively. He received a Ford Foundation Doctoral Forgivable Loan and completed his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 1970 at the same institution.
