Abstract
Prof. Hristo Dinkov Hristov was born on 30 July 1938 in the small agricultural town of Kameno, Burgas Region. For high school, young Hristov moved to the neighboring town of Burgas, where he graduated with excellence. In 1963, he graduated from the Technical University (TU) in Sofia, Bulgaria, with an M.S. degree in electrical engineering. He majored in radio, telephone, and telegraph engineering and began an outstanding career in academia.
