Abstract

An opinion is presented that Aboriginal art should be included in the 'new genre' public art in urban spaces, eliminating the common practice of 'disremembering' Aboriginal art. It is suggested that revised urban design policies should be implemented so that Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal art can be collaborated to reflect the changing cultural values in contemporary Australia.
