Abstract

The phenomenon of conditioned taste aversion (CTA) is generated after ingestion of a specific food is associated with an adverse outcome, i.e., sickness. In this issue of Neuron, Chen etal. (2018) interrogate the pivotal role of PBNCGRP neurons in both the acquisition and the expression of CTA.
