Abstract
Abstract Work is in progress on the remediation of contaminated ponds and landfills at a gas plant in central Alberta. Previous experience in the excavation and disposal of large quantities of heterogeneous, contaminated industrial wastes is limited. Through studies, investigations and pilot work a cost effective strategy for remediation has been developed.
