Abstract
Abstract Two types of deposits, both Pliocene, are recognized on the basis of sedimentologic analyses of samples collected near Lessay (Manche, France). One represents a transgressive facies (characterized by the presence of glauconite and abundant metamorphic minerals), the other a regressive facies (characterized by the presence of amphiboles).
