Abstract
The uncertainty relation is discussed for the canonical variablesq andp of a Bose-like oscillator that satisfy the general commutation relations. It is shown that the approach usually adopted for the case of the canonical commutation relation does not enable us to find the final expression of the required relation. It is possible, however, to prove a lemma concerning the possible minimum value of Δq·Δp.
