Abstract
The effects of neutral currents in various leptonic ( g − 2, e +e −→e +e −, e +e −→ μ + μ −e −e −→e −e −) and semi-leptonic ( νN→ ν+…,( μ e)N→( μ e+…) processes are examined in a unified systematic model-independent way. Existing data are used to bound the effects in ( μ e)N→( μ e)+…. The bounds turn out to be very weak so that experiments may be worth while even if they cannot approach the accuracy required to detect the effects predicted by the Weinberg-Salam model.
