Abstract
Abstract Mineralogic and granulometric study of the ancient alluvial deposits of the Oise at Cergy, Seine-et-Oise, France, shows that their sandy portion is derived mainly from local Bartonian (Eocene) sands which formerly covered Lutetian structural surfaces to a greater extent than at present.
