Abstract

Humanism is a coherent system of thought that claims ontological, epistemological, educational, aesthetic, political, moral and raises its own. For a better understanding of humanism, it is necessary to have a look at the history of the genesis of the idea. The term humanism or humanismus is used today, the term humanista is derived was used during the Renaissance and the teachers and students pointed humanities. The last word, the older term studia umanistaties is derived. In the early Christian centuries, the Latin word referring to the study of Greek and Roman pagan texts before the advent of Christianity, the church still retained. The most famous specialist in reading and understanding these texts at the time of Jerome (354 420 m), respectively. In the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance, the word was more common at that time, the word refers to a training program includes a focus on meaning, expression, originality, history and ancient philosophy, but of logic, natural philosophy, metaphysics and mathematics was not included.
