Abstract

Purpose: The research aims to evaluate the prevailing concept of development, and it also aims to clarify the components of religion in achieving sustainable development goals in general, and the problem of poverty and hunger in particular. Findings: The research concluded that religions have an original and comprehensive view of development, that they have intrinsic capabilities and a strong civilizational experience in facing the dilemma of poverty, and that the way to activate this is cooperation through the means of development dialogue.
