Abstract

This paper is concerned with the design of reliable static output feedback controllers (RSOFC) for systems with stochastic actuators failure. A sufficient condition for the existence of reliable RSOFC is presented in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which guarantees that the closed-loop system, with consideration of actuators failure, satisfies a desired H ∞ disturbance attenuation γ. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
