Abstract

Heterogeneous communications are significantly important for interoperability generally and for mobile agent systems interoperability particularly. But the mobility of the agents presents real obstacles to the reliability of message transmission between heterogeneous agents. In this paper we propose a reliable framework of communication for heterogeneous agent using middleware technologies. This framework offers a communication and integration infrastructure between distributed multi-agent systems as a more effective alternative to the widely used TCP/IP. Different types of middleware have addressed issues of interoperability. we based our framework on one of the most widely adopted middleware architectures used in attaching heterogeneous systems that is Message Oriented Middleware (MOM). MOM is an acronym referring to a middleware function related to reliable queuing and message based communications. Is known as common connect technology for heterogeneous software systems.
