Abstract

Analysis of reference data may be based on the principle that the quality of machining is a technolog� ical characteristic of every machining method (mill� ing, turning, boring, etc.). Quality is a complex mea� sure of the agreement between the machining results and the requirements imposed on the corresponding product. If the result of some process (such as machin� ing) is estimated as a uniform random quantity (a quantity whose fluctuations are small in compari� son with its actual value), this process is relatively sta� ble with respect to external perturbations and stable in terms of the controlled parameters.
