Abstract
With the deep interconnection of multi energy flows and the continuous development of multi energy storage technology in regional integrated energy system (RIES), the reliability evaluation of RIES has been widely concerned. In view of the problems that the energy supply reliability of RIES does not take transmission characteristics of the pipe network into account, and the influence of multiple energy storage on reliability of the system is not quantitatively analyzed. This paper proposed a reliability evaluation method of RIES considering multiple energy storage devices. Firstly the typical architecture of the regional integrated energy system was introduced. Secondly, the mathematical models for each equipment and energy supply subsystems in RIES were established, and the operation mechanism of various energy storage devices was also analyzed. Besides, the reliability evaluation indexes and methods were put forward, and the potential risk and cascading effects caused by the failure of different energy supply subsystems to the whole system are analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed evaluation method were verified by an example, and the impact of energy storage on reliability was quantified.
