Abstract
At present, research on the qualitative and quantitative assessment of reliability of multi-terminal HVDC transmission systems is still scarce. This paper proposes a modeling method for multi-terminal HVDC transmission system based on the principle of Frequency and Duration Method and model combination. Combined with the case of Zhangbei Multi-terminal HVDC transmission system, the availability of this modeling method was tested, and the evaluation model was established according to single-loop operation and the dual-loop operation mode of Multi-terminal HVDC system. It was proved that the double-circuit wiring can effectively improve the system reliability.
