Abstract

Software reliability is an essential and crucial factor to measure software quality. It is a challenging factor because of its complex nature of software. The complexity of software can be dealt by using object-oriented technology which forms a link between software development and software reliability. This paper assesses the reliability of object-oriented projects. The reliability criterion for object-oriented projects is determined by mapping object-oriented features with the software reliability sub-attributes. On the basis of reliability criterion, selection of a reliable object-oriented project is assessed using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) for which the results are shown.
