Abstract
The paper presents the results of processing statistics on outages for cable transmission lines and transformers of the 6-20 kV distribution network in urban areas. Analysis of failure rates for cable lines with aluminum conductor of different designs: with oil-paper insulation and cross-linked polyethylene has been carried out. The causes of failures for different types of cable lines are considered. Analysis of failure rates for transformers of different designs has been carried out, and the main failure causes of transformer failures depending on the year of commissioning have been considered. The obtained indicators of equipment reliability are compared with other studies. The reliability of the city electric distribution network is analyzed in the work. The contribution of failures of various equipment in SAIDI, SAIFI for the urban area was studied. The purpose of this work is to analyze the reliability of electric grid equipment, determine reliability indicators and identify the main causes of failures.
